Progress?

A continuum of thoughts I have as yet no desire to force order upon
To speak from within these fits; bound by the necessary alarm to burst this
revelry
Currently 6 for 6, despite my best efforts at poor choices: one of America’s most
wanted
Not a success met with relief… a handshake on a bet
A plan more fruitful than expected, premature ending might convince my fleeting
seconds I’d done all I could
But no such luck, good or bad
Not a scratch on this paint job, at the cost of character and a reluctance to
risk…
No more efficient a trek, but wits enough to see this ants crawl for what it is
Any direction good as the next and left ponder the coupling of forward motion
sensations
This is win-win and lose-lose, but that indecision console doesn’t fit the itinerary
It’s head first into this trap…

A poet, and you didn't even know it.
You did a really good job with this, I think, leaving alot unsaid and yet conveying all anxiety , all excitement, the contradictions and humanity possible to construct straightforwardly but best encapsulated in a perfect little pill such as you've done here.
Congratulations. It feels wonderful to have these decisions to make. And though you've earned every accolade, there must be a general gratitude that comes with realizing it hasn't gone unnoticed.
