This book comes with the highest recommendation. I'll update my thoughts as I progress.

Hey, Joe! Long time no talk! I just got "The Basic Writings of Nietzsche", which includes "the Birth of Tradegy", "75 Aphorisms from Five Volumes", "Beyond Good and Evil", "On the Geneology of Morals", "The Case of Wagner", and "Ecce Homo". You tell me how that one goes, and I'll give you a rundown of these.

Peace.

Have you made much progress?
I know that the book isn't often very straightforward.

Have you read the portion: "On the Three Metamorphoses"? I think the three stages he mentions: camel, lion and child (accompanied with much deeper commentary of course), is very powerful.

"For the game of creation, my brothers, a scared 'Yes' is needed: the spirit now wills his own will, and he who had been lost to the world now conquers his own world."
